These "agglo" corks are crafted from consistent shavings and unused cork parts, bonded together with food-grade adhesive to create a solid, well-crafted cork. This cork size is ideal for aging wine in the bottle for up to 3 years. The #9 corks have a larger diameter than the #8 corks, making them not the best choice for plastic plunger corkers. The #9 Straight Corks measure 15/16" x 1 1/2" and come in a bag of 100, fitting most wine bottles securely.
